What to Expect on the Day
The day will kick off with a students’ procession at 8:00 AM, followed by the Vice Chancellor’s formal entrance at 8:30 AM.
Faculty members and departmental staff are strongly encouraged to ensure all matriculating students are dressed and assembled on time to maintain the schedule.
Important Guidelines for Freshmen
- Lecture-Free Day:
In recognition of the significance of the ceremony, Friday, June 6, will be observed as a lecture-free day for all first-year students. This is to ensure full participation and avoid academic conflicts. - Screening of Admitted Candidates:
Between Monday, May 26 and Friday, May 30, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments are expected to oversee the screening process for all admitted students under their respective faculties. It’s a crucial step for confirming eligibility. - Participation Criteria:
Only students who have completed all necessary payments—including acceptance fees, tuition, and matriculation charges—will be allowed to take part in the event. - Deadline for Registration:
All registration processes and fee payments must be completed no later than Friday, May 30, 2025. Any student who misses this deadline may either defer their admission or risk having it automatically withdrawn.
