University Of Cross River State (UNICROSS) Announces Matriculation Ceremony For 2024/2025
The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), previously known as Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH), has released details for the matriculation ceremony welcoming first-year students for the 2024/2025 academic year.
This event symbolizes the formal initiation of new students into the university’s academic and social community.
Schedule of the UNICROSS Matriculation Ceremony
The ceremony will take place across the university’s campuses as follows:
- Calabar Campus: Thursday, 12th December 2024
- Ogoja and Okuku Campuses: Friday, 13th December 2024

Key Requirements for Participation
1. Payment of School and Matriculation Fees
Newly admitted students must pay their tuition and matriculation fees in full prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the matriculation register, and students unable to meet this obligation will forfeit their admission for the 2024/2025 session.
2. Fee Payment Deadline
The university has set a strict deadline: no payments will be accepted once the matriculation ceremony is concluded.
3. Registration and Documentation
After completing fee payments, students are required to finalize registration at their respective departments and faculties.

4. Return of Matriculation Gowns
Students must return their matriculation gowns no later than two days after the ceremony.
- Late Returns: A penalty of ₦2,000 per day will apply to gowns returned beyond one week after the ceremony.
