- Ordinary Level (O’Level): Applicants must possess at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, achieved in no more than two sittings.

- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with at least a third-class or equivalent from a recognised university.
Master’s Degree:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field, with a minimum of second-class lower division or equivalent from a recognised university.
Doctorate Degree:
- A master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Legislative Studies, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or Sociology, obtained from a recognised institution.
National Youth Service Corps Certificate:
- A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory for all Nigerian applicants.
