UNIABUJA 2025 Admission Form For Open And Distance Learning Degree Programmes
The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has kicked off the 2025 admission process for its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) degree programmes.
Managed by the Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education, these courses are designed for individuals looking to earn a university degree without physically attending classes on campus.
The 2025 intake is now open, and the entire learning experience is hosted 100% online, offering the kind of flexibility that suits working adults, remote learners, or anyone needing to study from anywhere in Nigeria.

Entry Requirements: What You Need to Qualify
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
- Option 1: Minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE—including English and Mathematics—obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Option 2: Two A-Level passes along with five O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics.
- Option 3: Four O-Level credits (including English and Maths) plus at least two relevant advanced-level passes or their equivalents.
Study Duration and Format
The length of your chosen programme depends on your entry qualifications. Generally, you can expect to complete the degree within four to five years.
- Learning is entirely online.
- Course materials, video lectures, and assessments are accessible via the internet.
- You don’t need to attend physical classes or report to a lecture hall.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide
To begin your application, follow these instructions carefully:
- Visit the official application portal: UNIABUJA Distance Learning Application
- Choose Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDLCE) from the options.
- Enter your full name, active email, and phone number.
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for payment.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦15,000 via your MasterCard or Visa Card.
- After payment, you’ll get an application number.
- Use that number to log back in and complete your application form.
Important Notes for Applicants
- Make sure the email address and phone number you provide are working and accessible throughout the application process.
- There will be no refunds once the payment is made, so only apply if you’re serious about pursuing the programme.
- Keep all payment and login details safe for future access.
Application Deadline
The closing date for all applications is Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Late applications won’t be accepted, so it’s best to complete your registration ahead of the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
