TSCNM 2025 Admission Form For Post Basic Nursing & Post Community Nursing/Midwifery Programmes

The Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery (TSCNM) has commenced online applications for the 2025/2026 academic session. Eligible candidates can now apply for the following programmes:

• Post Basic Nursing
• Post Community Nursing
• Post Community Midwifery

Application Timeline

• Opening Date: March 17, 2025
• Closing Date: April 7, 2025

Only qualified and licensed nurses or midwives are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

For Post Basic Nursing

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Licensed Midwife (LM) certification issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Possess at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
• The required subjects are Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
• All credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.

For Post Community Nursing & Post Community Midwifery

Candidates applying for either of these programmes must:

• Hold a valid LCN (Licensed Community Nurse) to apply for Post Community Nursing.
• Hold a valid LCM (Licensed Community Midwife) to apply for Post Community Midwifery.
• Have at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
• Required subjects include Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
• All results must be obtained within two sittings.
• NABTEB results must be combined only with NABTEB.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to complete your application:

1. Visit the College Application Portal: Go to the TSCNM Application Portal.
2. Create an Account: Register using a valid email and password.
3. Log In: Access the portal with your username and password.
4. Make Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦10,000 using an ATM card.
5. Fill Out the Form: Carefully enter your details and ensure accuracy.
6. Verify Your Information: Double-check before submitting.
7. Use a Valid Result Checker PIN: Ensure your O’Level result checker PIN has not been used more than three times.
8. Print Required Documents: After submission, print:
   • Payment slip
   • Completed application form
   • Acknowledgement letter

After applying, ensure you have both original and photocopies of the following:

• Printed payment slip
• Completed application form
• Acknowledgement letter
• Valid nursing/midwifery licence
• Certificate of registration with NMCN
• Notification of result from NMCN
• Testimonial from the nursing school attended
• O’Level result
