PTDF Postgraduate Scholarship 2025 For Nigerian Students To Study Abroad

Who Can Apply? — Eligibility Breakdown

- Submit a research proposal (max 5 pages) clearly tied to the oil and gas sector. It should include the title, background, goals, research methods, and data-gathering techniques.
- Provide a letter from your university’s Vice Chancellor confirming you’re not benefiting from another scholarship.
- Have a National Identity Number (NIN) and verify it during application (NIMC charges apply).
For Master’s (M.Sc) Applicants
To qualify, you’ll need:
- A Second Class Upper (2:1) degree, or a 2:2 with relevant work experience in the energy/oil industry.
- NYSC discharge certificate.
- Computer literacy.
- Five O’Level credits, including Maths and English.
- A 500-word personal statement explaining why you’re choosing this field, its significance to the industry, and its potential impact on Nigeria.
- A valid NIN (verification required before submitting your application).
Note: Submitting more than one application will disqualify you automatically.

- Your degree certificate or statement of result
- NYSC certificate
- WAEC/NECO/GCE results (plus PINs for result verification)
