
Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Post UTME Screening Form 2025
If you’ve applied to the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, for the 2025/2026 academic year, here’s something you need to know: your screening dates are out.
The school has fixed the Post UTME screening to run from Wednesday, August 27th to Friday, August 29th, 2025. The screening will be conducted online, so candidates don’t need to be physically present at the campus.
Who Can Apply for PTI’s Post UTME?
You’re eligible if you fall into either of these two categories:
- You selected PTI as your first choice during UTME and scored 130 or above.
- You didn’t pick PTI initially, but you’re willing to make it your first choice before the screening date, and you also scored 130 or higher in UTME.
How Much Is the Form?
The cost of the screening form is ₦2,000 only. All payments must be done through the Remita platform at any recognized bank across Nigeria.
Steps to Apply for PTI Post UTME Form
To avoid any issues, here’s a simplified guide to help you register:
- Go to the official PTI portal: www.pti.edu.ng
- Click on the “Programmes” menu, then select National Diploma Programmes.
- Tap “Apply Here” under the National Diploma option.
- Fill in your basic details on the “Post UTME Applicant Sign On” page. Choose a username and password that you’ll remember, and submit.
- You’ll be taken to a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page. Generate your RRR code and print the page.
- Go to any bank to make your payment of ₦2,000 using the RRR code. Keep the receipt.
- Return to the PTI site, go to the Students’ Menu, and click on Applicant Login.
- Log in with your credentials and complete the online form.
- Print the filled form. You’ll need to take it along with:
- Your RRR payment printout
- JAMB result slip
- O’Level results
Make sure all your information, especially your name, JAMB registration number, email, and photo ID, matches across your documents. Any inconsistency can lead to disqualification.
Important Notes About the Screening
- The entire screening process will take place online. You’ll be taking the test from your own location.
- Each applicant must follow their assigned screening date and time. No second chances will be given if you miss your schedule.
- Avoid using mobile phones or hotspots during the test—calls or network disruptions could cause problems.
- Use a reliable internet connection and a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
- Once the test starts, the timer won’t pause even if you’re logged out or disconnected.
- Check your email inbox (the one you used to register) for your login link and exam details. These will be sent before the screening date.
