Modibbo Adama University Of Technology (MAUTECH) Matriculation Ceremony Date 2025

Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has announced a change in the date for its 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony, originally set for Monday, June 16, 2025.

Why the Date Was Changed

The Federal Government declared a public holiday to mark Democracy Day, falling right around the scheduled matriculation.

In addition, the university management extended the mid-June break to cover June 12 and 13, which created a logistical hiccup. These interruptions have affected the university’s preparations for the event.

New Matriculation Date

After reviewing the situation, the Vice-Chancellor approved a new date for the ceremony. The matriculation will now take place on:

•  Friday, June 20, 2025

This adjustment is aimed at giving students enough time to collect their matriculation gowns and get properly set for the event.

The school understands the shift might cause a bit of inconvenience, but it’s all about making sure everything runs smoothly. They’re asking students to kindly bear with the change and take the extra time to prepare fully for their big day.

If you were planning for June 16, mark your calendar again. The official matriculation ceremony for new students at MAUTECH will now hold on Friday, June 20, 2025.
