McPherson University (MCU) has opened its doors to applicants seeking undergraduate admission for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The university is currently accepting applications for both Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

Degree Awarded
Depending on the course, successful students will graduate with either a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
BA Degrees:
- Languages
- Religious Studies

BSc Degrees:
- Microbiology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
- Business Admin, Marketing, Mass Communication
- Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, International Relations
Entry Requirements
SSCE/O’Level Candidates:
Applicants must have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects (including English and Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
UTME Candidates:
Candidates should have sat for the UTME with subjects that align with their chosen course. Refer to the official university site for detailed UTME combinations per department.
Direct Entry:
For DE applicants, acceptable qualifications include A-level passes, NCE, OND, or HND (with required grades and subjects).
Interested in Nursing?
Candidates from related science programs or other recognised universities may apply to transfer into MCU’s B.N.Sc. Nursing programme, provided they meet the outlined academic and departmental requirements.
Transfers are only allowed up to 300 level and will be determined by the faculty.
