Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, is gearing up for its 17th Convocation Ceremony, which also marks a major milestone—35 years since the institution first opened its doors.

The university has officially released a detailed schedule of events that will span nine days, starting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and concluding on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Each event will be hosted at designated venues across the campus, showcasing the university’s growth, achievements, and community.

Opening Day – Tuesday, April 15, 2025

The first day is all about reflection and recognition. Here’s how it’s scheduled:

• Press Briefing
  Starts at 9:00 a.m.
  Venue: Council Chamber
• Documentary Screening: “35 Years of LAUTECH”
  11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  Venue: The Great Hall
• Commemorative Tree Planting
  12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  Venue: Anniversary Park
  A symbolic gesture to honor the legacy and roots of the university.

Day Two – Wednesday, April 16, 2025: Culture and Innovation

This day blends academic research with cultural expression.
