Kwara State University (KWASU) IJMB/JUPEB Admission Form 2025
Thinking about an alternative route into university? Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU), has opened admissions for its 2025/2026 IJMB and JUPEB programmes.
These “A-Level” foundation courses are designed to help candidates gain direct entry into 200 level at the university—without sitting for the UTME again.
What Exactly Are the IJMB and JUPEB Programmes at KWASU?
These are intensive one-year academic programmes aimed at bridging the gap for students who either:
- Didn’t meet the requirements for admission via UTME,
- Or want a more direct entry into 200 level.
Students will receive in-depth tutoring in relevant subjects to prepare them for university degree courses. After completing the programme, candidates will be eligible to apply for direct entry into KWASU or other universities that accept IJMB or JUPEB results.
Who’s Eligible to Apply?
To be considered for either IJMB or JUPEB at KWASU, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of five credit passes in O’Level subjects including English Language.
- These credits must come from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE, and must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Candidates with deficiencies in key subjects are advised to consider the Pre-Degree (Remedial) option, which also prepares them for UTME and eventual university entry.
Application Process – How to Register
Applying is simple and can be done online. Follow these steps:
- Visit KWASU’s Admission Portal.
- Select the IJMB/JUPEB or Remedial/Pre-Degree programme of your choice.
- Fill in the required details.
- Submit and proceed to make payment online.
Note: You must have a valid email address and phone number to complete the process.
Programme Fees (2025/2026 Session)
Remedial/Pre-Degree Programme
- Science Students: ₦100,000 (to be paid in two installments)
- Non-Science Students: ₦90,000 (split in two parts)
IJMB/JUPEB Programme
- Science Students: ₦210,000 (one-time payment)
- Non-Science Students: ₦195,000 (one-time payment)
