Kaduna State University (KASU) Announces Special Resit Examination For 2025
Kaduna State University (KASU) has rolled out a special opportunity for students who still have a few academic hurdles to clear.
The university is organizing a 2023/2024 Special Resit Examination targeted mainly at final-year and spillover students who are trying to complete their degree requirements.
This initiative is designed for students with no more than six outstanding courses, giving them a fresh chance to meet graduation requirements without waiting another full academic session.
Important Update: New Deadline for Registration
Following the earlier announcement, KASU’s management has extended the deadline for the special resit registration.
Students who are eligible now have until midnight on Monday, April 28, 2025, to complete their registration.
All other eligibility conditions remain unchanged.

Note: This is a one-time extension. Once this new deadline passes, no further extensions will be considered.

- Registration and Revision Period: March 27 – April 28, 2025
- Revision Week: April 14 – April 26, 2025
- Examination Dates: April 28 – May 5, 2025

Who is Eligible?
Only certain students can take part in this resit program. Here’s a breakdown:
- Final-year and spillover students with six or fewer failed courses are eligible.
- Students who are part of programs that operate under a sessional examination system are not eligible.
If you fall outside these categories, unfortunately, you won’t be able to register.
How to Register for the KASU 2025 Special Resit

If you’re resitting two courses:
