Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Matriculation Ceremony 2025
The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has set the date for its 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony.
This academic event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th March 2025, at 10:00 AM, within the grand halls of the University Auditorium, Rumuolumeni Campus.
Key Registration Requirements and Matriculation Numbers
To be eligible for the ceremony, fresh students must finalize all registration procedures by Friday, 14th March 2025. Meeting this deadline is crucial, as only those who have successfully completed their registration and paid all required fees will be assigned matriculation numbers.
Additionally, students are required to pay a mandatory fee of ₦10,000 for their matriculation gown. This payment must be processed exclusively through the university’s official online portal to ensure proper documentation and verification.
Important Guidelines for Fresh Students
- Failure to register by the 14th of March 2025 will result in automatic forfeiture of admission. There will be no extensions or reconsiderations.
- Only students who provide valid proof of gown payment will be permitted to sign the Matriculation Register. Without this, students will not be officially recognized.
- Unsigned matriculation numbers will hold no official validity. Students must ensure they complete all formalities to avoid complications in future academic processes.
Matriculation Gown Collection
Students can collect their matriculation gowns from their respective faculty officers starting Friday, 21st March 2025. Specific instructions are as follows:
- Full-time students should proceed to their faculty offices for gown collection.
- Part-time students will collect their gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at St. John’s Diobu Campus.
- Institute for Distance Learning (IDL) students must pick up their gowns from their respective IDL offices.
Return Policy for Academic Gowns
All students must return their gowns by Friday, 4th April 2025. A strict penalty of ₦2,000 per day will be imposed for late returns. Students are strongly advised to adhere to this deadline to avoid unnecessary financial burdens.
Processing of Student Identity Cards
For proper identification within the university, all registered students who have fulfilled their fee obligations are required to visit the ICT Centre for ID card processing. This step is essential for gaining access to campus facilities and official documentation.
Final Advisory Notice
Matriculation is not just a ceremonial event; it is a defining academic milestone. It also serves as the absolute deadline for student registration for the session. Any student who fails to complete registration before the matriculation ceremony will automatically lose their student status at IAUE.
On this note, the Acting Vice-Chancellor extends heartfelt congratulations to all incoming students as they embark on this exciting educational journey. May this moment mark the beginning of a fruitful academic experience at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education!
