The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) is a program that offers an alternative pathway for students seeking direct entry admission into Nigerian universities. The registration for the 2024/2025 academic session is currently ongoing and is scheduled to close on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria:
- O’Level Results: Candidates must have a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in their O’Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB). ijmb.ng

Registration Procedure:
- Online Registration: Visit the official IJMB registration portal to fill out the application form. Ensure all information provided is accurate to avoid future issues. ijmb.ng
- Payment of Registration Fee: After completing the form, proceed to pay the non-refundable registration fee. The fee varies depending on the registration portal:
- IJMB.ng: ₦8,750 ijmb.ng
- IJMB.com.ng: ₦8,500 ijmb.com.ng
- IJMBGuide.com: ₦10,250 ijmbguide.com
- Submission of Required Documents: Upload the necessary documents, which typically include:
- A valid secondary school certificate (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
- Two passport-sized photographs
- Birth certificate or affidavit of age declaration
- Completion: After successful registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with details about your study center, start dates, and other pertinent information. ijmb.ng
Important Notes:
- Study Centers: IJMB has accredited study centers across Nigeria. For candidates in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, there are designated centers available. ijmb.com.ng
- Program Duration: The IJMB program runs for approximately nine months, divided into two semesters. During this period, students receive intensive lectures in their chosen subjects. ijmb.org.ng
- Direct Entry Admission: Upon successful completion of the program and passing the IJMB examination, candidates can use their IJMB certificate to apply for direct entry admission into 200-level courses in Nigerian universities.
