The College of Nursing Sciences at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) has opened applications for the Basic Midwifery programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the UDUTH Basic Midwifery programme, candidates must have:

• Five credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings. These subjects include:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
• Results from any of the following examination boards are acceptable: WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Follow these steps to apply for the UDUTH Basic Midwifery admission form:

1. Pay the Application Fee
   • A non-refundable fee of ₦7,000 is required. This payment must be made via the Remita platform.
2. Generate a Payment Reference
   • Visit the Remita payment portal and select “Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto” as the MDA.
   • Under the service menu, choose “UDUTH School of Midwifery” and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for the ₦7,000 payment.
3. Obtain Receipt and PIN
   • Present your payment receipt to the UDUTH School of Midwifery cashier to collect a cashier’s receipt, serial number, and PIN.
4. Access the Online Application Form
   • Go to the UDUTH Basic Midwifery application portal.
   • Enter your serial number and PIN to log in and access the application form.
5. Complete and Submit the Form
   • Fill out the form accurately and review all details before submission.
   • Print a coloured copy of the completed application form. This printout is mandatory for the entrance examination.

• Sales of Application Forms Begin: Monday, 2nd December 2024
• Sales of Application Forms End: Saturday, 6th January 2025
• Entrance Examination (CBT): Thursday, 11th January 2025

Entrance Examination Guidelines
