Glorious Vision University (GVU), formerly known as Samuel Adegboyega University, has opened its doors for applications into the 2025/2026 academic session.

General Admission Requirements (UTME)
If you sat for the 2025 UTME and are looking to apply:
- You must have scored the required JAMB cut-off and have five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE).
- Awaiting result candidates can also apply.
- All applicants must participate in GVU’s internal screening.
- If you didn’t initially select GVU, you can change your institution via the JAMB portal and proceed to apply on GVU’s website.
Direct Entry Admission
Direct Entry applicants must:
- Obtain the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry form.
- Hold at least a Merit in NCE, credit in OND/HND, or a degree in a relevant field.
- Have five (5) O’Level credit passes including English and Mathematics.
- Have JUPEB/IJMB/A-level passes as required by their chosen department.
Conversion Programme
Those seeking to switch to GVU from another institution or programme must:
- Meet the standard O’Level requirements (5 relevant credits including English & Maths).
- Provide their official academic transcript.
Transfer Students
Students transferring from other NUC-approved institutions must:
- Buy the transfer application code and complete the online form.
- Have a CGPA not less than 1.5.
- Pass the internal screening.
- Submit their transcript and JAMB admission letter from their current school.
How to Apply

- Pay a non-refundable application fee of N6,000 to generate your registration PIN.
- Fill out the online form using a valid email and phone number.
- Your application ID will be needed for future login and admission status checks.

Admission screenings will take place at the following centres:
- Edo: Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa Campus, Edo State.
- Lagos: SAU, Liaison Office at The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Lawna Territory Headquarters, Olorunda ketu, Lagos.
- Ilesha: The Apostolic Church, Oke-Ooye Street, Ilesha
- Port Harcourt: The Apostolic Church Somiari –Ama Assembly, 24, 2nd Church Road, off Abloma Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
- Eket: The Apostolic Church, Eket Field H/Q, Eket, Akwa –Ibom State.
- Abuja: The Apostolic Church, Durumi District,By Dunamis Church, Area 1, Garki, Abuja FCT
- Lokoja: The Apostolic Church, Ajara Quarter, Lokoja Area Headquarters.
- Kaduna: The Apostolic Church, Zaria area, Z11/12 Abeokuta Street, Arugungu Road, Kaduna.
- Ibadan: The Apostolic Church, Oke-Ado Area, 27 Adebiyi Street, off NTC Road, Dugbe, Ibadan.
For Returning & Fresh Students
Returning Students:
- Login at GVU Portal with your Matric number to pay school fees and follow the on-screen instructions.
Freshers:
- After paying your acceptance fee, login with your Application ID to proceed with school fees and accommodation payments.
