Federal Polytechnic, Ukana Releases Admission List For 2024/2025

The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana has announced the release of its admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective students who took part in the admission screening process are advised to check their admission status to confirm if they have been offered provisional admission into the institution.

This list comprises candidates admitted into various National Diploma (ND) programmes.

How to Check Your Admission Status

To verify your admission status, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Admission Portal
    Navigate to the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana official admission portal.
  2. Select “Admission Status”
    Look for and click on the Admission Status tab.
  3. Provide Your JAMB Registration Number
    Enter your JAMB registration number in the designated field.
  4. View Your Status
    Click the Continue button to display your admission status.

Instructions for Admitted Candidates

If you have been offered admission, the following steps are required to secure your spot:

  1. Accept the Admission
    Pay the acceptance fee promptly. This step confirms your willingness to join the institution.
  2. Settle the School Fees
    After paying your acceptance fee, proceed to pay your school fees as required.
  3. Receipt Verification
    Take your payment receipts to the Bursary Department for confirmation.
  4. Complete Documentation
    Visit the Academic Affairs Unit to finalize your admission documentation.

For Candidates Not Yet Admitted

Candidates who do not find their names on the first list should remain hopeful. The institution plans to release a second admission list soon.

Additionally, if you changed your institution to Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, ensure that your results are properly uploaded on the JAMB portal. Missing or improperly uploaded results could lead to disqualification.

Confirming Your Admission

All admitted students must complete the admission process through the JAMB CAPS portal:

  • Accept the Admission
    Log in to your JAMB CAPS account and accept the admission offer.
  • Print Your Admission Letter
    After acceptance, download and print your admission letter directly from the JAMB portal.
  • Submit Documents to the Institution
    Bring both the original and photocopies of your admission letter for further processing at the institution.

Session Start Date and Fee Deadlines

The new academic session is scheduled to begin on Monday, 25th November 2024. All students are required to complete their fee payments and registration within three weeks of resumption.

Failure to meet this deadline will result in penalties for late registration.

Fee Payment Guidelines

Here’s how new and returning students can pay their fees:

For New Students

  1. Log in to the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana portal.
  2. Select the option for First Year School Fees.
  3. Enter your JAMB registration number and other requested details.
  4. An e-invoice will appear—choose an online payment method and complete the transaction.
  5. Note the Remita Reference Number (RRR) to verify payment on the portal.

For Returning Students

  1. Enter your matriculation number in the section for returning students.
  2. Follow the same steps as new students to complete your payment.

Important: All payments must be made through the portal. Cash payments are strictly prohibited.

Hostel Accommodation

Students interested in staying in the school hostel should:

  1. Complete the necessary payment through the portal.
  2. Visit the Students Affairs Unit on the Main Campus for further instructions.
