Federal Polytechnic Ugep Post-UTME Registration For 2024/2025
Initially set to close on Monday, 30th September 2024, the registration deadline has now been extended to Thursday, 31st October 2024.
This gives more time to applicants who haven’t yet uploaded their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). So, if you missed the original date, there’s still a chance to apply!

Eligibility for Screening
To be considered for the Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- UTME Participation: You must have taken the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Minimum Score: A UTME score of at least 100 is required.
- First Choice Institution: Federal Polytechnic Ugep must be selected as your first choice during the UTME registration.
- Screening Fee: A non-refundable fee of N2000 is required for the screening process. Payment should be made via Remita using the GIFMIS code 0517018031.
If you didn’t originally choose Federal Polytechnic Ugep as your first choice, you still have a chance to apply! Simply log into the JAMB portal and change your first choice to Federal Polytechnic Ugep before the 31st October 2024 deadline.
Admission Requirements
To qualify, candidates must meet the following Minimum Admission Requirements:
- Five O’Level Credits: Including English Language, Mathematics, and Physics. Two additional credits should come from subjects like Chemistry, Geography, Biology, or Computer Science. These credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Screening Process
For this session, the Post-UTME screening will be based on an internal review of candidates’ results. Make sure to upload your O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before the deadline. Applications without this upload will not be processed, so it’s essential to complete this step as early as possible.
