ESUT Postgraduate Admission Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Requirements
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and two relevant science subjects.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a recognized university with at least a pass.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) holders in relevant fields must have a minimum of Upper Credit.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) Requirements
ESUT offers two categories of Master’s programs:
- Academic Master’s Programs, which qualify candidates for further academic studies.
- Professional Master’s Programs, which are terminal and do not lead to additional academic progression.
Academic Master’s Program Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least a Second Class Lower Division (CGPA of 3.0/5.0).
- A Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND, along with a PGD (CGPA of 3.0/5.0), may also be considered.
Professional Master’s Program Requirements
- A minimum of Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field.
- Candidates with a Third Class Bachelor’s degree or HND must hold a PGD with a credit-level CGPA (3.0/5.0 or 50% weighted percentage average).
- Applicants should exhibit strong intellectual ability, problem-solving capacity, and decision-making skills.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Requirements
- Five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, and two relevant subjects.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with at least a Second Class Lower Division (CGPA of 3.0/5.0).
- An academic Master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 4.0/5.0.
- A Master’s thesis graded at least 60% (B grade).
- Candidates must demonstrate intellectual depth, academic maturity, and strong problem-solving abilities.
