Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 academic session part-time and intensive degree programs.

Application Timeline & How to Apply
- Application Window: June 2, 2025 – September 14, 2025
- Apply Online:
- Go to DELSU’s official portal and select DIPP.
- Generate an RRR invoice and pay the ₦20,000 fee at any designated bank.
- Complete the online form.
- Print your photo card and submit it at the DIPP office.
Note: If your O’Level results are from before 2019, you must present your original certificates during screening.

1. INTENSIVE PROGRAMMES (Abraka & Oleh Campuses)
Ideal if you’re ready for a full-time load outside the regular schedule.
- Engineering (Oleh): Chemical, Civil, Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Petroleum & Gas Engineering
- Management Sciences (Abraka): Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Public Administration
- Communication & Media (Abraka): Mass Communication, Journalism & Media Studies, Broadcasting, PR, Advertising
- Social Sciences (Abraka): Library & Information Science, Political Science, Sociology, Economics
- Science (Abraka): Computer Science, Microbiology
- Arts (Abraka): English & Literary Studies
- Management Sciences (Asaba): Same as Abraka core courses

- Science: Computer Science, Microbiology
Entry Requirements Snapshot
You’ll see fee details on the portal, but here’s a breakdown of what’s expected academically:
• Bachelor’s in Arts (English, Philosophy, Theatre, Religious Studies)
- Direct Entry (4 years): Hold an NCE, Diploma, or A‑Level passes in relevant subjects + O’Level credits.
- UTME option (5 years): Five O’Level credits (including English, and subject-specific requirements), or TC II with credits/merit.
• Education Degrees (Guidance, Primary, Biology, Computer Science, Economics, Human Kinetics, Business Education)
Usually five credits (English, Mathematics + related subjects). For direct entry, an NCE, OND or A‑Level credential is required.
• Management Sciences (Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Admin, Marketing)
Five credits in O’Level (English, Maths, Economics/Commerce + two others).
- Direct entry options available with ND, HND, A‑Level, or professional certifications (e.g. ICAN) as specified.
• Social Sciences (Economics, Political Science, Sociology)
Similar to management sciences in basic criteria.
Direct-entry candidates need A‑Levels, NCE, ND or DELSU Diploma at merit level.

- JAMB Registration is MANDATORY unless you already have a NYSC discharge certificate or don’t require an NYSC exemption.
