HND Admission Requirements
To be eligible for DESOMATECH’s HND programs, applicants must:
- Meet all ND admission prerequisites.
- Hold a National Diploma (ND) in a related field from DESOMATECH or another recognized institution, with at least a 2.50 CGPA (Lower Credit).
- Submit evidence of one-year industrial training or relevant work experience.
- Applicants with a Pass (2.00 – 2.49 CGPA) may be considered but will need to complete a one-year Pre-HND program first.
- Provide an official academic transcript from the ND-awarding institution—sent directly to DESOMATECH under sealed cover.
Note: No aptitude test is required for HND applicants.
Aptitude Test Information
Although HND applicants aren’t required to take an aptitude test, those who apply for other categories may be invited. In such cases, candidates will receive SMS notifications about test dates.
Test Centres include:
- DESOMATECH Main Campus, Burutu
- College of Education, Warri
- Kwale Campus (near Utagba-Ogbe Technical College)
- Gbaregolor Campus
Candidates should bring their printed acknowledgement slip to the test venue.
How to Apply for DESOMATECH HND Admission (2025/2026)
Ready to apply? Follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: www.dsmt.edu.ng
- Click on “APPLY NOW” and select the HND application form.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of ₦25,000 directly through the portal. (Payments made outside the portal won’t be accepted.)
- After successful payment, log in using the email and password used during payment.
- Fill in the online application form and update your profile.
- Print two copies of the acknowledgement slip after submission.
