Eligibility Requirements for CONSA Post-Basic Nursing Programme
To qualify for the Post-Basic Nursing programme at CONSA, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Requirements
A minimum of five (5) credits in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
These credits must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Acceptable examination bodies:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
Result combination is only allowed if it’s from the same exam body (e.g., WAEC/WAEC or NECO/NECO).
NABTEB results cannot be combined with WAEC, NECO, or another NABTEB result.
Candidates must provide their original certificates or official computer printouts—awaiting results will not be accepted.
Additional Requirements
– A school testimonial from the institution where you completed WAEC or NECO.
– A birth certificate from:
- The National Population Commission
- A government hospital
- Or a court declaration of age
– Must have successfully completed a three-year Basic Midwifery or Psychiatric Nursing programme.
– Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as either:
- A Registered Midwife (RM) or
- A Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)
– Must hold a valid practising licence.
– At least one (1) year of post-clinical experience in the relevant field.
– A functional personal email address is required for correspondence.

Application Fee & Payment Details
To apply, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,500 to the school’s designated bank account:

- Payment Reference: Use the candidate’s full name
Accepted Payment Methods
Bank Deposit: Walk into any branch and pay directly.
Bank App Transfer: Use your mobile banking app.
POS Machine: Payment through a Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal is also accepted.
Important Payment Instructions
If paying via bank transfer or POS, make sure to include the candidate’s name and programme applied for in the “narration” or “remark” section.
Bank transaction receipts (not SMS alerts) must be printed and uploaded as proof of payment.
On the exam day, candidates must present their payment receipt for verification.
