Bayero University Kano (BUK) Remedial Science Programme Admission Form 2025

Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has commenced the application process for its Remedial Science Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.

This programme is designed to prepare students for seamless entry into various undergraduate degree programmes within the university.

Admission Requirements

Prospective candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria:

• Possess five O-level credits, including Mathematics, English, and relevant science subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Have at least three O-level credits and be prepared to remedy the remaining subjects before securing admission into a degree programme.

Transition to Degree Programmes

Successful candidates who complete the remedial programme and meet the following conditions will be eligible for admission into a degree programme:

• Attain five O-level credits, including Mathematics and English.
• Meet or exceed the university’s minimum UTME score requirement.
• Candidates who pass the programme but do not meet the UTME requirement may still be considered if granted a JAMB waiver.

Validity of Results

• The results from the remedial programme remain valid for two admission cycles.
• Candidates who pass but do not initially meet O-level or UTME requirements can use their results for the subsequent admission session.

Programme Structure and Duration

• The programme spans one academic session without interruptions.
• The 2024/2025 session is scheduled to commence in May 2025.
• Candidates who complete the programme successfully may proceed to a degree programme in the 2025/2026 academic session.

Application Fee

• Applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of N5,000 to access the online application form.
