Apply Now: Command Secondary Schools 2025/2026 Admission Form
If you’re planning to get your child into one of Nigeria’s Command Secondary Schools for the 2025/2026 school year, the time to act is now.
The admission portal opened on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and will close by Saturday, June 8, 2025. That gives you just a few months to complete the entire application process.
The entrance exam is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, and will take place at various accredited centres across the country.
How to Apply – Step-by-Step Instructions
Getting started is pretty straightforward, but don’t skip any step:
- Visit the Admission Portal
Go directly to the official site at https://dcss.sch.ng. Once you land there, look for the “Enroll” button and click it. - Create a Profile
You’ll need to set up a username and password to proceed. After that, fill in the required information carefully—mistakes can cost you later. - Pay the Application Fee
A non-refundable fee of ₦2,500 is required. Use a valid ATM debit card to make payment securely through the Paygate platform. - Download the Exam Photo Card
After your payment is confirmed, return to the portal and download your Exam Photo Card. - Print and Bring Your Photo Card to the Exam
This document serves as your official pass into the exam hall. If you don’t bring it on exam day, you won’t be allowed to take the test.

All candidates must sit for the exam at their chosen exam centre with a printed Exam Photo Card. Without it, you won’t be granted access.
