The University of Abuja has officially opened applications for the 2024/2025 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening.

If you’re aiming to secure a spot, here’s all the information you need on how to apply before the deadline.

Application Period

The university recently extended its online registration deadline to Saturday, 26th October 2024. If you haven’t completed your registration yet, now’s the time to do it.

The Post UTME/Direct Entry form is available to all candidates who either took the 2024/2025 UTME and selected UNIABUJA as their first choice, or applied through Direct Entry.

Important Dates and Deadlines

• Start Date: Thursday, 19th September 2024
• End Date: Saturday, 26th October 2024

Failure to register within this period means you won’t be eligible for admission in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements

For UTME Applicants:

• You need a minimum score of 180 in your UTME exam.
• You must have at least five credits in your O’Level results, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
• Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal.

For Direct Entry Applicants:

• You must possess an NCE, IJMB, ND, First Degree, or HND. If you have JUPEB or NABTEB ‘A’ Level, you do not need to apply.
• Ensure your A-level results are uploaded and verified on the JAMB portal.
• You must be at least 16 years old by November 2024.

Additionally, make sure your UTME subject combination aligns with the course requirements at UNIABUJA. If you’re waiting for your results, you are not eligible to apply for the post-UTME.

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Visit the UNIABUJA Post UTME Portal:
   Head to the portal and click on “Click here to apply.”
2. Select Your Category:
   On the left panel, choose Undergraduate.
3. Enter Your Details:
   Input your JAMB registration number and click on “Get details.”
4. Fill Out the Form:
   Provide accurate contact information, including a valid phone number and email address, then proceed by clicking “Next.”
5. Pay the Screening Fee:
   The screening costs N2000. On the payment review page, click Generate RRR to move forward.
6. Make Payment:
   You’ll be redirected to Remita’s payment page. Enter your credit or debit card details, then submit the payment. Verify with the OTP sent to your phone.
7. Complete Registration:
   After payment, log back into the portal using your JAMB registration number as the username and your surname as the password. Finish the registration, then print both the registration form and payment receipt.

Additional Information

If you wish to change your course, ensure that you do so on the JAMB portal to maintain eligibility for admission.
