Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited offers an annual community-based scholarship targeted at students from Delta State.

Midwestern operates out of Umusadege in Kwale under PML 22, and its head office is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Since it began operations in 2001, the company has continuously contributed to the growth of its host communities, particularly in the area of education.
The Community Scholarship scheme is part of Midwestern’s broader commitment to local development, offering educational support to students in accredited Nigerian universities.
Who Can Apply?
This scholarship is open to students who meet the following conditions:
- Must currently be in 100 level or 200 level at a Nigerian university.
- Must have obtained five credits in a single SSCE or GCE sitting, including Mathematics and English.
- Must present an admission letter from a recognized Nigerian university.
- The university must be fully approved and accredited.
- A valid student ID card must be provided.
- Applicants must also submit a letter of identification signed by:
- A Ward Councillor, or
- A representative from the Community Accredited Contact-Men Committee (CACC).
Application Deadline
- All applications must be submitted on or before April 19, 2025.
- Late submissions will not be considered.
