Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, has unveiled an exciting scholarship opportunity for incoming students enrolling in the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme.

This initiative, spearheaded by the university’s Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Alh. Chief (Dr.) AbdulRaheem Oladimeji, OFR, is set to ease the financial burden on students and their families.

Scholarship Details

• First-year (100 Level) MBBS students will enjoy a 30% tuition scholarship.
• Second-year (200 Level) MBBS students will benefit from a 15% reduction in tuition fees.
• This decision was formally approved during an Emergency Governing Council meeting on Tuesday, 18th February 2025.

First-Year MBBS Fee Breakdown

• Standard MBBS Tuition Fee: ₦5,000,000
• Accommodation Fee: ₦500,000
• Total Cost (Before Scholarship): ₦5,500,000

Scholarship and Adjusted Payment Plan for First-Year Students

• Scholarship Deduction (30%): ₦1,500,000
• Revised Tuition Fee: ₦3,500,000

Payment Schedule

• 60% Payment at Registration: ₦2,100,000
• Accommodation Fee: ₦500,000
• Total Initial Payment: ₦2,600,000
• Remaining Balance: ₦1,400,000 (Due before Rain Semester exams)
