Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) is offering supplementary admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Candidates who selected AKSU as their first choice and scored 140 or above in the 2024 UTME are eligible to apply.

AKSU provides a variety of supplementary programmes across multiple faculties, catering to diverse fields of study.
Faculty of Agriculture
- Programmes Offered:
- Agricultural Economics and Extension
- Animal Science
- Crop Science

- UTME Subjects Required:
English, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, and either Mathematics or Physics. - O’ Level Requirements:
Five credits including English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Agricultural Science.
Faculty of Arts

Registration Period
The application window opens Monday, 11 November 2024 and will close on Friday, 29 November 2024. All interested candidates must complete their registration within this period to be considered.
Requirements for Online Screening
Candidates are required to have the following documents on hand for online screening:
- 2024 UTME Result Slip
- 2024 Direct Entry Registration Slip (for Direct Entry applicants)
- Relevant certificates (such as HND, ND, NCE, or A-level)
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Origin
- AKSU PUTME/DE Registration Confirmation Slip
Application Procedure
To apply, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the AKSU Admission Portal.
- Click “Start Now” and select “Enrol” under the PUTME option.
- Enter JAMB Registration Number and proceed.
- Pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.
- Upload all required documents in .jpg format (file size between 120KB and 150KB).
- Review entries for accuracy.
- Submit to generate your Registration Confirmation Slip.
Important Reminders
- Candidates offered admission must accept it within four weeks.
- Failure to accept an offer may impact future eligibility for admission.
- Make sure O’ Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal through an approved CBT centre.
- AKSU does not engage agents for admission processes.
