Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the 4-year Part-Time Degree Programme, here’s what you must have:

  • At least a merit pass in relevant courses from a recognised Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
  • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings. These must include English Language and Mathematics (compulsory for all courses).

Important Note on JAMB Registration:

While candidates applying for part-time programmes are not required to sit for UTME, they must still register their part-time admission through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to be eligible for an NYSC Exemption Certificate later on. This step is crucial, even if you didn’t take the JAMB exam.

How to Apply for AFUED Part-Time Degree Admission

You can submit your application online or do it physically at the school’s ICT centre or the Directorate of Continuing Education.

Follow these steps:

  1. Head to the portal: https://portal.afued.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Applicant” and proceed to read the instructions.
  3. After ticking the agreement box, click “Continue”.
  4. Select “Create Account” and fill in your details. Make sure to provide a valid email address.
  5. Check your email for a system-generated password.
  6. Log back in using your email and the password.
  7. Make a payment of ₦10,000 via Ettranact (note: bank charges apply).
  8. Continue the registration and fill the form carefully—edits are not allowed once submitted.
  9. Print two copies of the completed form and submit them to the Directorate of Continuing Education and Part-Time Studies at the university.

All forms must be submitted on or before Friday, November 28, 2025.
