The Federal Co-operative College (FCC), Ibadan, has announced the commencement of its application process for the 2025/2026 Higher National Diploma (HND) admissions.

Prospective students, both for Full-Time and Part-Time study options, are now invited to apply.

Available HND Courses

FCC Ibadan is offering admission into the following HND programmes:

• Co-operative Economics & Management (Full-Time & Part-Time)
• Business Administration & Management (Full-Time Only)
• Banking & Finance (Full-Time Only)
• Computer Science (Full-Time Only)
• Home & Rural Economics (Full-Time Only)

Additional Professional Programmes

The college is also accepting applications for its Postgraduate Diploma and Professional Diploma (PD) in Co-operative Studies.

This one-year programme (available both Full-Time and Part-Time) is open to:

• Graduates from any discipline
• Experienced co-operative officers looking to deepen their knowledge

Entry Requirements

Admission into the HND programmes is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:

1. HND in Co-operative Economics & Management

(Available in Full-Time & Part-Time)

• Must have a National Diploma (ND) in Co-operative Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Insurance, Purchasing & Supply, or a related field.
• Minimum of Lower Credit from an accredited institution.
• One year of industrial training (IT) is required post-ND for those with Lower Credit.
• Two years post-ND IT for those with a Pass grade.
• Five O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. HND in Banking & Finance

(Full-Time Only)

• Same entry criteria as Co-operative Economics & Management above.

3. HND in Business Administration & Management

(Full-Time Only)

• ND in Business Admin, Accounting, Marketing, Insurance, or related fields.
• Lower Credit minimum from a recognized institution.
• One year of post-ND IT (two years if applying with a Pass).
• Five O’Level credit passes in related subjects, at one or two sittings.

4. HND in Computer Science

(Full-Time Only)

• ND in Computer Science, Computer Studies, or similar programmes.
• At least a Lower Credit grade.
• One-year post-ND IT or two years for candidates with Pass grades.
• O’Level: Five credits including Mathematics, Physics, and English, in not more than two sittings.
