McPherson University is accepting applications for the following postgraduate degrees:

• Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science
• Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science

Admission Requirements

(a) PGD in Computer Science

To apply for the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science:

• You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an HND in Computer Science.

(b) M.Sc. in Computer Science

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized university.
• Applicants with a Third Class degree and a PGD in Computer Science (or related field) may also be considered.
• HND holders with a PGD in Computer Science can apply.
• NYSC completion or exemption is mandatory.

(c) Ph.D. in Computer Science

• You must meet all M.Sc. admission criteria.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science with a minimum 60% average (from MCU or another accredited university).
• Candidates on an M.Phil programme may switch to a Ph.D. based on strong academic performance.
• Completion or exemption from NYSC is required.

M.B.A Admission Criteria

Applicants must:

• Have five O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Admin, or similar fields with a minimum of Second Class Lower.
• Candidates with HND plus professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, etc.) or PGD are eligible.
• Graduates from other disciplines with relevant work experience may also apply.
• NYSC completion or valid exemption applies.

Additional Notes:

• Work experience strengthens your application.
• Foreign applicants must show English Language proficiency for the MBA programme.

M.Sc. in Accounting Requirements

Applicants must:

• Have five O’Level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, and subjects like Economics or Accounting.
• Hold a B.Sc. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields with a Second Class Lower minimum.
• Be graduates of recognized universities.
• NYSC completion or exemption is mandatory.
