Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to candidates seeking admission into the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing programmes.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have selected UCTH as their first choice institution in JAMB
- Score 180 or above in the 2025 UTME
Didn’t originally choose UCTH? You’re still eligible—just make sure to process a change of institution with JAMB before applying.
Academic Requirements
Applicants must hold five (5) credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
These results must be obtained in no more than two sittings in either WAEC (SSCE) or NECO.
How to Apply
Payments are strictly offline and must be made via Remita at any commercial bank:
- Log into Remita Platform
- Choose:
- “Pay FGN & State TSA”
- Then select FGN (Federal Government of Nigeria)
- Type in: University of Calabar Teaching Hospital
- Under “Purpose,” select: School Fees/Charges
- Use this Inter Code:
1000187508 - Enter the amount: ₦20,000
- Print your payment receipt
Once you’ve paid:
- Take your teller to the UCTH Treasury Office (Permanent Site) to collect an official receipt
- Present this official receipt to the Principal, School of Nursing (Moore Road, Calabar) to collect your application form
Note: Online payment is not accepted. Stick to the Remita process at a bank.
Deadline for Submission
Completed forms must be returned—along with photocopies of all necessary documents—no later than Friday, 25th July, 2025. Late submissions will not be entertained.
