Step-by-Step Guide to Applying for the UNIABUJA IJMB Form

The application process is done entirely online, and here’s how to go about it:

Fees:

• Application Fee: ₦25,000
• Acceptance Fee: ₦30,000

Application Steps:

1. Visit the UNIABUJA Portal
2. Click on “Start Application”
3. From the list, select “Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB)“
4. Fill in the following details:
   • Surname
   • First Name
   • Other Names
   • Email Address
   • Phone Number
5. Click Next to proceed
6. On the next page, click Generate RRR to get your payment reference
7. Click on Make Payment to go to the Remita platform
8. Use your ATM card (MasterCard or Visa) to complete the payment
9. After payment, your Application Number will be displayed on the portal
10. This number will also be sent to your phone via SMS
11. You’ll then be automatically logged out of the system
12. Return to the Main Login Page
13. Enter your Application Number and Surname to continue the process
14. Complete and submit your application form

Before you apply, keep these conditions in mind:

• Use a valid email address and active phone number—important updates will be sent through both.
• If you fail the IJMB programme, you’re allowed to reapply for the next session.
• Once you’ve paid and registered, no refunds will be made if you choose to withdraw or are disqualified later.
