Benue State University (BSUM) Releases 2024/2025 Admission List
Benue State University (BSUM) has published the admission list for the 2024/2025 academic session. If you applied for undergraduate admission, it’s time to find out whether you’ve secured a spot.
Successful candidates will need to accept their admission and pay the acceptance fee to finalize their enrollment.

How to Check BSUM Admission List (2024/2025 Session)
There are two ways to check your admission status:
Method 1: Checking via BSUM Portal
- Go to the BSUM Admission Portal: https://portal.bsum.edu.ng
- Locate the application number input box on the left side of the page.
- Carefully enter your unique application number.
- Click the “Submit” button to see your admission status.
- If your name isn’t there yet, don’t panic—keep checking regularly for updates.
Method 2: Checking via JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal: https://portal.jamb.gov.ng.
- Log in with your JAMB registration number and password.
- Click on “CAPS” from the menu options.
- Select “Check Admission Status” to see if you’ve been offered admission.
- If admitted, you will see options to Accept or Reject the offer.
- If your status says “No Admission Yet”, don’t lose hope—keep checking as updates are ongoing.
What to Do After Securing Admission
Once your admission is confirmed, follow these steps immediately:
1. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Log in to JAMB CAPS and click “Accept” to officially confirm your admission.
- Failing to accept the offer on time could result in automatic forfeiture of your admission.
2. Pay Your Acceptance Fee
To secure your spot, BSUM requires all newly admitted students to pay an acceptance fee. Follow these steps:
- Print your Payment Reference Number Slip from the BSUM e-payment platform.
- Take the slip to a designated bank and make the payment.
- Collect your Payment Receipt as proof of transaction.
3. Proceed with Registration
- Gather all required documents for clearance and course registration.
- Follow BSUM’s official guidelines for student registration.
If your name hasn’t appeared yet, don’t lose hope—the admission process is ongoing, and more lists may be released. Keep checking the BSUM portal and JAMB CAPS for updates.
