Entry Requirements & Programme Duration

4-Year Sandwich Degree Programme

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have an NCE or National Diploma in a relevant field.
• A minimum of Merit in NCE from a recognized institution.
• At least five O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Merit in National Diploma, alongside the required O’ Level subjects.

5-Year Sandwich Degree Programme

Eligibility:

• Candidates with WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, Teachers Grade II Certificate, NCE, or National Diploma can apply.
• A pass in NCE, along with five O’ Level credits in no more than two sittings.
• Five SSCE O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, relevant to the chosen course.
• Applicants for this programme must take an aptitude test at the university.

Application Process

Step 1: JAMB Registration

• Candidates must register through a JAMB State Office and select University of Nigeria, Nsukka as their first-choice institution.
• This ensures JAMB assigns registration numbers and uploads candidate details to JAMB CAPS.

Step 2: Payment of Processing Fee

• 4-Year Programme: ₦5,000
• 5-Year Programme: ₦10,000
• Generate a Sandwich Registration Invoice via the UNN Portal.
• Make payment at any commercial bank using the Remita platform.

Step 3: Completing the Online Registration

After making the payment:

1. Return to the UNN portal and fill out the Sandwich Registration Form.
2. Print out the completed form.
3. Submit the form with academic credentials at the Sandwich and Evening Programmes Unit, Registrar’s Department.

Important Notes

• The 2025 JAMB Sandwich forms are now available.
• Candidates do not need to sit for the JAMB Examination.
• Payments must be made only through the approved university channels.
