University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Post-Registered Nursing Programme Admission Form 2025
The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) College of Nursing Sciences is now welcoming applications for its 18-month Post-Registered Nursing Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session.
This specialized programme is designed for qualified nurses looking to enhance their professional credentials and leads to the prestigious Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Academic Qualifications: A minimum of five credit passes in WASSCE, GCE, or NECO—including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry—obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Professional Certification: Applicants must already hold either a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Work Experience: At least one year of post-registration experience in the nursing field.
- Additional Documentation:
- A reference letter from the applicant’s most recent or current employer.
- A valid nursing practising licence.

Interested candidates can access and complete their application forms online through the UBTH College of Nursing Portal.
Application Fee
- The non-refundable application fee is ₦15,000, payable via the UBTH Treasury Single Account (TSA) on Remita under the category: “Training School – Department of Nursing, College of Nursing Sciences.”
- An additional fee of ₦500 is required for the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State.

Submission Deadline
- The final date for submission of completed applications is Friday, 14 February 2025.
Examination & Screening Details
