Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Announces Registration Deadline For 2023/2024

Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has announced the deadline for undergraduate students to complete their registration for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The university has issued a clear reminder that the registration portal will close on January 9, 2025, with no plans for an extension.

Key Registration Guidelines

For Students Who Wrote the First Semester Exams

Students who have already participated in their First Semester examinations but are yet to pay their registration fees must complete all outstanding payments and finalize their registration before the deadline.

For Students Who Missed the First Semester Exams

Students who missed the First Semester exams due to unpaid fees now have an opportunity to settle their fees and register. Once registered, these students will only face suspension of studies for the First Semester.

Penalties for Late or Missed Registration

BUK has stated unequivocally that any undergraduate failing to complete their registration by January 9, 2025, will be required to suspend their studies for the entire 2023/2024 academic session. This policy is non-negotiable, and no exceptions will be made.

Information for Prospective Students

Prospective students looking to join BUK in the 2024/2025 academic session are reminded that the Post-UTME online screening portal is still open. Interested candidates should complete their registration as soon as possible, as the portal will close shortly.
