The University of Abuja’s International Institute for Publishing Studies (UIIPS) is now accepting applications for its Professional Master’s Degree in Publishing Studies (MPS) for the 2023/2024 academic session, Stream II.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for the programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• O’ Level Requirements: A minimum of five credits, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Undergraduate Degree: A Bachelor’s Honours degree from a recognized university.
• Alternative Qualifications: A Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma from an accredited institution.
• Other Professional Qualifications recognized by the University of Abuja are also accepted.

Program Duration

The UIIPS Master’s programme is available in two intakes:

• November Intake: For January admissions
• June Intake: For August admissions

How to Apply

The application process involves a non-refundable fee of ₦30,000, which must be paid via the REMITA platform on the University of Abuja Portal.

To complete your application, follow these steps:

1. Visit the UNIABUJA Application Portal.
2. Select “International Institute for Publishing Studies” from the options.
3. Fill in your personal details, including surname, first name, other names, email address, and phone number.
4. Click on “Next” to generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) for payment.
5. Complete your payment through MasterCard or Visa Card on the REMITA platform.
6. After payment, you’ll be redirected back to the portal where your application number will be generated.
7. Log in using your application number and surname as the password to finalize your application.

The deadline for applications is Sunday, 19th January 2025.
