AAU Registration, Clearance Procedures
These steps ensure that every student completes their admission confirmation, fee payment, and clearance efficiently.
1. Check Your Admission Status
- Head over to the AAU Admission Portal.
- Click on “Check Admission” and enter your JAMB registration number and surname.
- If you’ve been admitted, head to the JAMB CAPS portal and accept the offer.
- Don’t forget to ensure your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS for verification.
2. Pay the Acceptance Fee
- Once you’ve accepted your admission, log in to the AAU portal.
- Find your student ID and password.
- Use these details to log in and proceed with the payment of your acceptance fee.
3. Check Your Clearance Status
- Log in with your student ID and password.
- Navigate to the top-right of the page to view your clearance status.
- If there are any discrepancies, click on “My Data” and “Clearance Data” to update the incorrect details.
- After making the necessary corrections, request clearance again.
4. Pay School Fees and Other Charges
- In the “My Data” section, select “Payments”.
- Add a payment ticket and choose the relevant fee category, whether it’s for acceptance fees or school fees.
- Complete the payment using an ATM-enabled Verve or MasterCard.
5. Obtain Your Matriculation Number
- After paying, go back to “My Data”.
- Click on “Base Data” and then select “Get Matriculation Number”.
- Download and print the matriculation number slip for your records.
6. Register Your Courses
- Log in again and go to the “My Data” tab.
- Select “Add Course List” to create and register your courses.
- You can edit your course list, then download the registration slip for confirmation.
Important Notes for New Students
- Always collect receipts for all payments made from your faculty accountant.
- Ensure you submit copies of your credentials, matriculation slip, clearance forms, and payment receipts to the faculty office.
